Should Kittens Drink Almond Milk
In a nutshell cats should not drink almond milk.

Because kittens have such sensitive stomachs it is important to avoid feeding kittens other milks as well such soy milk almond milk or any of the other nut milks.
Although it s been established that felines should not be drinking cow milk and almond milk in and for meals you can quench their search for milk with a treat that contains milk as an ingredient. Milk or milk alternatives should also never take place of water. Also almond milk contains sugar which is not good for cats because it can lead to obesity or some dental issues. To be clear almond milk does not contain any dairy products like cow milk it is made of almonds after all.
As they grow older production of such enzyme reduces making the cat lactose intolerant. Are we allowed to feed our cats almond milk. A good thing is that almond milk does not contain any lactose. However kittens can safely drink the milk because they still have the lactase enzymes needed to breakdown the lactose in the milk.
Although it will not cause the lactose based stomach upset it is still very possible for a cat to feel icky after too much almond or soy milk which in turn negates any benefit that can be had via the protein the milk contains. Almond does not contain lactose a substance that most felines are intolerant of. Because kittens are rapidly growing everything they consume should be packed with the nutrition they need. Although they are not considered dangerous almonds may cause minor stomach upsets abdominal pains and vomiting.
However soy milk and or almond milk should never become a major component in your feline s diet as it does not contain all of the nutrients needed to help your kitten grow up to be a healthy cat.
